Who We Are
Established in 2016, Surfside Structured Sober Living provides safe, reputable sober living for men. We offer staffed, supportive housing in a vibrant recovery community in Atlantic County, New Jersey.
We've developed house rules that emphasize both the value of the 12-Steps, as well as neuroscience research about physical movement and addiction recovery. Our team identifies these as activities related to maintaining sobriety and continuing recovery, as supported by research.

Why We Exist
Changing a person’s habits requires an overhaul of their daily systems.
A person may have the desire to stay clean and sober, but initially needs rules and structure to help them achieve this goal.
Addiction treatment programs offer a wealth of education and information, and people are expected to apply these lessons to their lives post-discharge - but a short-term program simply cannot rewire a person’s habits. That's why we created Surfside.
A Truly Structured Experience
By creating a safe recovery environment in our sober living homes, men are held accountable as they transition to independence. Our peer support and clear household rules enable men to find recovery and rebuild their lives with dignity.
Our housing structure sends a clear message to our men in early recovery: recovery is possible, sustainable, and deeply rewarding. Our Class F Sober Living License affirms that we meet the state guidelines for a Cooperative Sober Living Residence.
